Listen up, Club Wyndham owners. You can get the resort and destination that you want while saving your points — here’s how.
First, you’ll need your points chart. You can find it on the resort page under the “Room Types” section. Points charts tell you how many points you’ll need to book your vacation based on the resort, suite size, and timeshare season. With your chart in-hand, you’re ready to book your vacation and save your points with these 4 tips.
Timeshare seasons are determined by a resort’s availability during certain times of the year. The more popular the season, the more points you’ll need to book that resort during that time.
Prime and High seasons are more desirable, but also require more points. By planning your vacations in Quiet and Value seasons, you can save your points for a future getaway.
Be flexible with your vacation days. Sunday-Thursday vacations require fewer points per night, and there’s usually more resort availability during this time. Who said vacations have to be a weekend shindig anyway?
Some resorts in your destination require fewer points than others. Plus, they’re still located near the activities and attractions that you want. For example: If you can’t find availability at Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek in Orlando, Florida, check out Club Wyndham Cypress Palms, Club Wyndham Star Island, Club Wyndham Orlando International, or Club Wyndham Reunion. Compare the points charts for each resort to get the best deal.
Your Deals & Offers section can get you a 15-50% points discount at select resorts, and they change monthly. This deal is just for Club Wyndham owners, because you’re also kind of a big deal.
Just like that, you have the tools you need to book a vacation, save your points, and turn one vacation into two. Need a points refresher? Check out your Vacation Starters videos for a recap on your New Owner Quick Start page.
