Take your next vacation up a notch and add a few extra days onto your stay. Go ahead, you deserve it. Reservation modifications give you the ability to add up to three nights to the beginning and/or end of an existing reservation. Instead of having to cancel a reservation and rebook for a new length of stay, the reservation modification feature makes it easy for you to extend your vacation and eliminates the risk of losing your existing reservation.

Modifying your reservation is a quick and easy process, and does not require an additional reservation transaction or housekeeping credit. Here’s how to extend your vacation dates.

1. Log in and navigate to the Upcoming Vacations tab on your owner dashboard.
2. Choose the upcoming reservation you wish to extend and click “Modify.”
3. From there, you can modify your reservation dates by selecting “Add Nights.” 
4. Your current vacation dates are highlighted on the calendar in gray. You can add up to three days to the beginning or end of your vacation by selecting a new check-in or checkout date from the available dates indicated by the circle. Simply select your new date and you’ll see how many more points you’ll need on the right.  
5. If everything looks good, click “Continue” and then “Confirm Changes” to lock in your new vacation dates.

• The total length of stay for your reservation after adding additional nights cannot exceed 14 nights. 
• If you intend to extend your stay by adding nights both to the beginning and end of an existing reservation, they have to be completed in two separate transactions. Additionally, the check-in date and checkout date can only be modified once. 
• Reservations can be modified up to two days prior to check-in date. 
• Once modified, the cancellation policy will be based on the new check-in date. If a reservation is modified within 15 days of check-in, the same-day grace period does not apply. 
• Added nights must be under the same check-in name, and for the same resort and suite type as the original reservation. 
• Points for additional nights are deducted from the Use Year those additional nights fall in. The additional nights will be charged according to the current discounts and promotions that may apply at the time of booking, such as Owner Travel Deals and VIP discounts*. 
• Once a reservation is modified, nights cannot be removed. Cancellation will result in the entire reservation being canceled. 
• If you don’t have enough points remaining in the applicable Use Year, you can rent or borrow when making the reservation in the respective booking window.
