No need to leave the resort to get ice cream. Head to the main tower of Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek near the lobby to find Scoops, open from Noon to 9 p.m. Dana Slimmer recommends taking it to-go and enjoying it by the pool.

2. Milk Bar In New York City, New York

Just under 1.5 miles away from Club Wyndham Midtown 45, the Milk Bar Flagship store is well-known for its cereal milk-flavored soft serve ice cream. Top it off with a cornflake crunch for the perfect summer treat.

3. The Custard Cabin In Crossville, Tennessee

Theresa Schumski Ross’ top pick is the honey lavender ice cream at The Custard Cabin. Try it for yourself or one of their other flavors — it’s just 1.5 miles down the road from Club Wyndham Resort at Fairfield Glade.
